A string of unsubstantiated rumors concerning Land Rover's intent to develop a
high-performance version of the Range Rover Evoque provided the inspiration for
a digital mockup of what such a model could look like from the crew over at
PS-Garage.
The so-called Range Rover Evoque R was envisioned as a three-door model
powered by the Jaguar-Land Rover group's newly announced 3.0-liter supercharged
V6 delivering up to 375hp (380PS) and 460Nm (339 lb-ft) in the upcoming Jaguar
F-Type roadster.
On the styling front, the three-door version of the Evoque was given a more
vigorous look with flared wheel arches trimmed in black that house larger alloy
wheels, rocker panels, more prominent air vents, tweaked bumper and grille
designs plus a lowered ride height.
